The Management, Board, Advisors and Support Team at ExitPath are all entrepreneurs who have lived in the trenches of startups, Fortune 500 companies, solo shops and distributed organizations. We're focused on pragmatic action, and have held founding positions with critical roles in a number of companies. Some examples of what we accomplish for you are:

• An internet startup in the electronic content management space was 45 days from running out of funds, with no completed product in sight, and little bankable management. We recruited a bankable CEO/President, raised a $400,000 bridge loan on a convertible note, and an additional $1.9 million in equity financing in less than 60 days. The company sold 20 months later for $28.5 million.

• A B2B startup in the print brokering space was in need of incremental bridge funds to make payroll and start the investment process for the company. We located an investor who would take the risk, provided feedback on the business model and provided investor due diligence. The company eventually sold while still in "beta" for $23.5 million (an additional $500k in cash was realized to make that week s payroll!).

• An ISP was, after nearly three years, in need of an exit path for the founders. We sourced a buyer, structured an amicable deal, and accelerated the transaction by providing additional incentives to the buyers upon closing sooner rather than later. The company sold for $175 per customer.

• A startup in the financial services industry was looking for $3-5 million in capital to facilitate their startup process. We marketed the company to over 200 VCs, receiving 120 responses and directly meeting six of these and getting to due diligence for as much as $20 million in private equity from a single transaction. Through our relationships we secured a line of credit for $2 million, obviating the need for an equity investment, and eliminating founder dilution.

• Successfully sold off our client's software technology long thought worthless by the company founders. This not only provided a new revenue source (through licensing and royalties), but measurably reduced the investment required for this company to develop their newest breakthrough application.

• Through negotiations and the establishment of new vendor relationships, we reduced the monthly burn rate of a wireless technology company by 54%, all while improving the scope of services and in many cases enhancing the vendor relationships.
